Stripes give life! This MixedPrints Monday were digging into the this ASOS Linen Stripe Suit. About a year ago I purchased this from ASOS, a UK site that many people are familiar with. This suit must have been pretty popular, when I went to purchase they had the "low in stock" notification, so I knew I couldn't sit on this. I usually would wear a size 4 blazer, but because of the limited sizes I had to work with what was left. How I styled this suit: You'll see me wearing a size 6 blazer & usually I'll wear a simple top or blouse underneath but since the buttons were secured I decided to just button them up and go from there stepping out of my comfort zone. Luckily they had a size 4 in the pants. I went and over accessorized with the pink tassel diamond earrings purchased from H&M for only $5 along with the blue tassel choker. You've seen the blue suede booties before from JustFab.
At last instead of the regular hand bag, I pulled out a Aldo leather backpack for $40. All in all this look was fun, flirty & sexy. Even though the blazer was a bit big, it still looked great. And works well as a staple piece on other outfits that I whipped up as well. So if you happen to have a piece of clothing that's over-sized, think out the box get the creative juices flowing and make it work!
